Affordable Treats

Budget-Friendly Sweet Treats

Being a college student can be tough and sometimes a little pick me up can be essential. Being a college student, you do have to consider having a college student budget... These are some of my favorite go-to spots when I'm having a craving but need to save some money.

Spudnut Donuts

Running Late? Grab a Quick Breakfast!

Spudnut Donuts are located all over the town of Goleta and Santa Barbara, leaving locals with the temptation of delicious donuts.  Spudnut is great for craving a singular donut or even buying by the dozen. It is affordable and a comfort breakfast.

My personal favorite is the maple bar, so fluffy and flavorful which will cost me less than $3 for breakfast.

Mojo Asian Fusion Café

Having a Sugary Craving? Try Some Boba From Mojo!

Mojo is one of the more affordable locations in Goleta when it comes to a boba craving. Mojo doesn't have to compromise the taste for the price. It is super tasty and a quick treat.

I would definitely recommend jasmine milk tea with boba, 100% sweetness, and less ice. This will cost me around $5-6 compared to the other $7-8 boba places.

Blenders in the Grass

Finding a Way to Cool off? Try SB's Favorite: Blenders!

Blenders are great for a refreshing smoothie or acai bowl. The nice thing about blenders is that they allow you to add one supplement to your drink free of charge. You can turn your dessert smoothie into a protein shake if you want! Blenders are affordable compared to other smoothie shops like Jamba Juice, which charge about $8+ per beverage.

A 12oz smooth will cost under $5 and a 24oz will cost under $7.
